batteries anyone?

I ran into CVS today on the way home from the gym to the battery deal. It is buy $20 worth of Duracell and get $15 ECB back.

I did 2 transactions (72 batteries) and spent $24ish out of pocket and got back $15 ECB for later. I can still go back and do 1 more set of 32 batteries and for $5 oop and get back yet another $15 ECB. I just have to find 2 more coupons for the batteries.

Now we really are stocked and ready for Santa!

CVS trip July 20th and popcorn!

I came across a link for a free "sample" of Kettle Corn and this is what was on my door step Saturday. I wasn't even expecting it since I got in on the deal late, but I received an email with a tracking number on Thursday. Talk about a nice "sample". I got a bag of regular kettle corn, a type of pepper kettle corn, cinnamon kettle corn, and white chocolate with a peppermint kiss kettle corn. NICE!!


It's been forever since I updated with my deals but I am determind to get back into the swing of things. I have had a very busy summer so far and a lot of my deals have been rushed and I forget to take pictures or post about them. I went to CVS tonight to do one more deal with the $3 off $15 coupon. No picture but this is what I got:

I have $29 Ecbs for next week and I also still have $15.73 on my gift card! I love this game!


I also had to run to CVS this morning before the baby shower and when I purchased my items I had $20 Ecb's printed out! I know one of them is from a survey I did for the CVS advisory panel back in April that ended up being linked to the wrong card. Once again CVS went above and beyond and fixed that for me plus gave me another survey for another 10 that will print at the end of the month. I don't know where this 3rd 10 came from but I think either they just gave it to me for messing my accounts up or they put the 10 for the latest survey on there early. Either way I LOVE CVS!

It's was a great trip except for the fact that the guy that exchanged our propane tank gave us another empty one and we didn't figure it out until we got home and unloaded. Bummer :-(

We went to 2 different Krogers for a few deals plus some must needed stuff. I will have to blog about those later. I am a little frustrated with the P&G coupons and will be taking back about $20 in items that were supposed to cost me less than $7. I emailed them to see if they will credit my card. We will see what happens.

I went into CVS this week with one ECB of $24.95. I also broke each transaction up into a $20 deal so I could use $4 off $20. The manager at my CVS has always been great and even let me use my expired $2 off huggies supreme stacked on top of another huggies coupon today. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to use my $2 coupon, but as always he came through for me!

I am going into next week with a grand total of $26.98!

Today was my last trip to CVS this week. I LOVE CVS! I also love the manager at the CVS in Salem on main street. He told me if I couldn't find the razor blades I was looking for to come back and between the two of us we could work something out! How awesome!

I really wish we could get some deal on food. I am all stocked up on the bathroom items. I hate that I keep going and getting things I don't need, but when you pay $0.29 for a bottle of shampoo why not?! I am going to end up donating a lot of my stuff.

I didn't really explain things too well with my CVS trip. I started the trip with $15 ECB in hand that is why my out of pocket looked so good. I scanned my receipts and marked what coupon was what so that my dear friends :-D could get a better idea of how I did my shopping. Plus I am going to add pictures.

I really love my CVS. The manager there is great. I went in yesterday and couldn't find a cart so he went and found one in the parking lot for me. When I came back later that evening he was still there and we talked for about 20 minutes about deals and marketing stuff. I was looking at some things on the clearance table and he told me to wait until later in the week and they would be another 75% off. How cool is that! I have a feeling any kind of great deals and I will know about them :-D
