My first stop...Walgreens April 7th

My first trip today was Walgreens. I think I did pretty good. I didn't catch it but my total should have been about 4 dollars less had the cashier fixed a problem the correct way.

6 packs of Wrigley gum
4 boxes of Reynolds foil
3 boxes of tissues
1 free ink refill
2 Air wick minis (they weren't ringing up buy 1 get 1 and the cashier just took one off all together so I couldn't use both my 4 off coupons)

Total: $30.67
OOP: $7.75

Walgreens April 2nd

I hadn't planned on doing Walgreens this week until I realized they had the free ink refils. I loaded up with Lance in tow and off we went. The refil won't be ready until Sunday but I guess that is the price you pay for FREE!

Other stuff we got:
2 8packs of gum
2 10 packs of gum
2 coffee mate liquid creamer (for my mom)
1 scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaner

Total: $40.81
OOP: $13.17 (used rebat gift card from last time so I really didn't pay anything out of my pocket)

Plus I get a $5 MIR on the scrubbing bubbles so that means I will have paid $5 for that cleaner in the end! GREAT DEAL!

CVS and Walgreens trips March 11th

I did awesome at Walgreens and pretty good at CVS this week.

I really wish we could get some deal on food. I am all stocked up on the bathroom items. I hate that I keep going and getting things I don't need, but when you pay $0.29 for a bottle of shampoo why not?! I am going to end up donating a lot of my stuff.

Earned $17.96 ECB (I had planned to do a bit better but had to change some things around) Still good to have a free $18 bucks for next week.

March 2 Walgreens and Food Lion trips

Lance and I decided that we should stay home from church this morning since we were going to playhouse Disney tonight. I wanted to make sure he would get his nap in so he could have a good time. I figured since I was home I should run to Walgreens and get the great deals they had on Olay body wash. Mind you this stuff is crazy expensive and I would NEVER buy it. I like to stick to inexpensive things or whatever is on a good sale.



Here is my Walgreens break down. I am still trying to figure out how to work the transactions so I get the most register rebates.

8 bars of zest soap (4 2packs)
6 bottles of Olay body wash
2 bottles of Olay face wash

OOP: ZERO!! Walgreens actually paid me 0.60 to take this stuff.

I had coupons for everything and did 4 transactions. I could have walked away with an even better deal if I would have done the transactions right but I am not going to complain!

I purchased 2 boxes (4 bars) the total was 2. 20 OOP and I got a $4 RR to use on my next purchase. I then got 2 more boxes of Zest used the 4 RR and paid 0.20 cents. I then purchased my 6 bottles of Olay. WG had a deal buy 6 get $12 RR back. 6 of them totaled $20. I used 6 $2.00 coupons for a grand total of $9 OOP. I got $12 RR back. The manager was great. She had to issue me $12 on a Walgreen's gift card because the register wasn't printing the RR. The card is better because I can use it easier than I can the actual RR. So I walked out with a .60 cent profit!

Now for Food Lion.



I didn't need anything from the GG list but found they had some closeouts I wanted to check out. I usually am too late and they are all gone. Not today!

The Breakfast breaks are on closeout from $2.99 to $.99 and the washcloths were on closeout for $1.64. I had a coupon for $1.50 off making them $.14! I also had a free Food Lion travel pack of wipes. I don't use Food Lion brand but hey for free I will put them in the van for emergences.

Over all it was a good shopping day.
